DJBNaturals
I started DJBNaturals when I was 21, working out of my parents' kitchen in Howell, Michigan. I was just making soap and moisturizer for myself at first, trying to take better care of my body using simple, natural ingredients.

My mom, Kerry, runs a massage therapy business from our home, and she started telling her clients about what I was making. People were curious, so I gave some products away — and realized this could actually be something bigger.

The best part of all this has been the conversations. I love talking with people about health, healing, and how God designed our bodies. That’s really what DJBNaturals is all about — helping people see their bodies as temples and giving them clean, honest products to care for them.
DJ's Story

Since I was 13, I struggled with severe acne. Kids at school made fun of me, and I hated how my skin would change throughout the day. I tried countless skincare products and visited multiple specialists, but nothing worked. So I scrubbed my face constantly, thinking that was the solution.

Eventually, I started doing my own research and realized that what I was putting into my body mattered just as much as what I was putting on it. Cutting back on processed sugar made a huge difference, and by my senior year of high school, my acne felt more manageable.

But during the COVID-19 pandemic, everything crashed. My skin got worse again, and I fell into anxiety and depression. I knew deep down I needed to change — not just my skincare routine, but my entire lifestyle.

That’s when I found Dr. Paul Saladino talking about animal-based diets and the effects of seed oils and processed sugar on the body. He explained how these things contribute to insulin resistance, which is behind so many issues — from acne to depression to countless other chronic diseases.
I realized that seed oils and processed sugars are man-made distortions of God’s original design. They take what He created to nourish and sustain us and replace it with something that often harms us. That clicked for me — my body wasn’t broken; it was just being mistreated. Once I returned to the foods God gave us, everything started to change.

Looking back, I know God was answering my prayer for wisdom. I changed my diet, my mindset, and my habits — and my skin, energy, and motivation transformed. More than that, I realized God was using my struggle to draw me closer to Him.

That journey led me to discover a passion for health, healing, and helping others. What started as natural products I made to help myself eventually became a business — and a way to connect with others facing similar root issues.
